Responsible gambling
Oracle is a research tool, not a source of income. No analysis guarantees a win — and our public track record currently shows a negative return: no lasting edge over the market has been demonstrated. If you bet, treat it as paid entertainment, with money you can afford to lose entirely.
Before you bet: set your limits
- Decide on a maximum budget for the week or month — money you can lose without consequence. Never rent, food, school fees, business money or borrowed money.
- Keep every stake small and fixed. Never raise your stakes to “win back” a loss.
- Set a time limit and take regular breaks. Do not bet when tired, angry, stressed or after drinking.
- Keep a written record of your bets and your real net result.
Warning signs
- You bet to recover what you have lost.
- You need to bet more and more to feel the same excitement.
- You borrow, sell belongings or lie to keep betting, or you hide it from those close to you.
- You bet more often, or for longer, than you planned — and fail when you try to cut down.
- You feel irritable or anxious when you are not betting, or you bet to escape your problems.
- Betting affects your work, studies, finances, sleep or family.
If you recognise yourself in even one or two of these signs, talk about it. The services below are free and confidential.
Tools that help
- At your betting operator: deposit and loss limits, time-outs, reality checks and self-exclusion. Oracle is not a bookmaker, so we cannot apply them for you — set them directly with the licensed operator you use.
- National self-exclusion: in Great Britain, GAMSTOP blocks every licensed online operator in one step; in France, the voluntary gambling ban (ANJ) lasts at least 3 years; in the United States, voluntary self-exclusion programmes are run by each state’s gaming regulator.
- Blocking software on your devices, and gambling blocks offered by some banks on your card.
- On Oracle: you can cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time from Settings. If you want us to block your account so that you cannot come back with it, write to [À COMPLÉTER PAR LE FONDATEUR]. [À VALIDER : procédure interne de blocage à la demande (compte suspendu)]
